Accordio Ltd has ceased trading after its founder, Rob Neil, lost his year-long battle with cancer and passed away on 21st May 2026.

After his diagnosis in early May 2025, Rob spent just over a year undergoing treatment for bowel cancer, but despite his best efforts he spent his last days in the care of the wonderful Pilgrims Hospice team in Ashford, Kent.

Rob achieved a long-held ambition in 2015 when he set up Accordio and began providing strategic ICT and management consultancy support to local authorities across the UK. The success of Accordio reflected Rob’s equally successful career in local government but it was with Accordio that he found his true vocation, setting up a dynamic and far-reaching consultancy that provided advice and support to both the private and public sectors, particularly in the field of digital transformation.
